I created my Google account (a @gmail.com personal account) around March this year. On Mar 8, when I started using AI Studio, I got an email from google-cloud-compliance@google.com that my default Gemini project “(id: gen-lang-client-0503209003) has been reinstated”, but I hadn’t appealed anything, and there was no suspension email either.
- Any project I create in Cloud Console has the create API key button grayed out, saying “You currently do not have permission to create API keys.”
- Any tab in AI Studio’s dashboard also says “Project quota tier unavailable. Please contact your project administrator for assistance.”
- Calling any API key created in AI Studio will return a 403 saying “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
- My age has been verified and I have not abused any services. My account is not paid/billed. My project is
gen-lang-client-0503209003. - I believe this might have been a false positive flag
I’d like for a moderator to double check on why exactly I’m shadowbanned and unable to create API keys (at least give me a reason as I have not abused anything). Or, if it’s resolvable, I’d like to request having my account unbanned and able to create API keys.
