I have been suffering from this problem for the last two days. I can’t use the Gemini API on my local Python setup, and it’s also failing in Google AI Studio. Both are only generating 1K (1024px) images even though I’m requesting higher resolutions with Gemini 3.1 Flash or Gemini 3.1 models.
I don’t know how to fix this, but it’s really painful and preventing me from completing my daily work. I have already checked the quotas, and none of them are even 1/3 above my request level.
