Antigravity Agent Execution Termination Error – HTTP 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED

Hi Antigravity Support Team,

I have been using Google Antigravity IDE regularly for code debugging, development, and correction. For the past 3–4 days, I have been consistently facing the following issue:

"Agent execution terminated due to error.”

The problem occurs even when I start a new conversation and send a very simple prompt such as “hello”, so it does not appear to be related to a particular project, codebase, or prompt.

I have performed several troubleshooting steps, including checking the configuration, MCP settings, installation, and usage/quota information, but the issue persists.
The debug information:

Trajectory ID: 16adafc1-3aa1-4f39-8394-a77*********
Error: HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
Sherlog:
TraceID: 0xc307632***********
Headers: {“Alt-Svc”:[“h3=”:443"; ma=2592000,h3-29=“:443”; ma=2592000"],“Content-Length”:[“139”],“Content-Type”:[“text/event-stream”],“Date”:[“Mon, 07 Sep 2026 04:24:17 GMT”],“Server”:[“ESF”],“Server-Timing”:[“gfet4t7; dur=758”],“Vary”:[“Origin”,“X-Origin”,“Referer”],“X-Cloudaicompanion-Trace-Id”:[“c30763*********”],“X-Content-Type-Options”:[“nosniff”],“X-Frame-Options”:[“SAMEORIGIN”],“X-Xss-Protection”:[“0”]}

{
“error”: {
“code”: 429,
“message”: “Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).”,
“status”: “RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED”
}
}
I also tried the /usage command, but it results in the same Agent execution terminated due to error message.

My current environment is:
OS: Ubuntu Linux
Architecture: x64
Antigravity version: 1.107.0
Antigravity package: 1.23.2-1776332190
Installation: /usr/share/antigravity

I also verified that my MCP configuration is empty, so MCP does not appear to be causing the problem.

Could you please check whether there is an account-side quota, entitlement, backend capacity, or service-side issue associated with my account/trajectory?

I would appreciate your help in restoring the Agent functionality

I can provide the complete debug information, screenshots, or any additional logs required for investigation.

same bro from past one week , i am facing this error only.

Hello, I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Antigravity where the agent terminates with an HTTP 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error.

I have already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps, including:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Antigravity
  • Restarting the application
  • Starting new conversations
  • Trying different models
  • Using a different Google account/email
  • Checking my quota/usage

My quotas are showing as available/full, but I continue to receive:

HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED
Agent terminated due to error

My latest diagnostic information is:

Trajectory ID: 816ac467-f707-440d-91********
TraceID: 0xe23be2********

This issue persists even after changing accounts and reinstalling the application. Could you please check whether there is a backend, account, or quota-enforcement issue affecting my requests?

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this Trajectory ID and TraceID and let me know what is causing the 429 error, since my quota is still available.

Thank you.

I have got the same issue ! Any idea when is this going to be fixed ?

This is honestly so frustrating. I don’t want to but do I now have to buy cursor??

Same issues arise today suddenly it shows like this

Hello, I am encountering the backend quota desync bug where my active Gemini Ultra membership is not being recognized by the API gateway, resulting in false 429 errors. My local dashboard shows I have available quota, but the backend is blocking requests as if it is exhausted.

Could an somebody please manually resync my account?

Thank you.

I’m facing this problem too 2 days ago. I tried this solution I posted in another discussion and it worked: Pro account hitting 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED despite quota showing available, persists after full reinstall - #2 by Adriel_Mederos_Matos

I hope it works same for you.

Hi Adriel,

Yes, that did work.

Thank you very much!
