Hi, So i’m working on a web app to be use also on the phone.
The app is basiclly ready so I just wanted the option to create a custom shorcut on the phone’s main page through the web option (a feature which i create on other apps).
The thing is, that the model keeps giving me an “An internal error occurred.” error’, and only on that file.
I tried to refresh the page, close and open, and even to delete the file and manually recrated it in the project.
The access to the file is denied (can’t even press on it to view it content). All I can do is renname or delete it.
Any idea?

It can happen that manifest.json seems to be mistaken, but you should read this: dev.to/piroska65/chrome-extension-in-almost-zero-minute-2bod

The “An internal error occurred” is a generic IDE error, likely due to a corrupted local cache or a server-side file lock.

Step 1: First, try a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) of the browser to clear the local IDE state.

Step 2: If that fails, delete the locked file and create a new file with a slightly different name (e.g., manifest-new.json).

Step 3: If the new file opens, copy your content and then rename the new file back to the original name.

Thanks for your apply but no it’s not the case been a while i open thistried and i found out that service this model system can’t endle the file of webmanifest. i’ve already tried all this solution that you suggested and didn’t help.
It happened with another apps and I tried to delete and even created the file a manually and the system just didn’t cool it acknowledge this file
