Use case:
Native 3ds Max plugin (AI Studio Max) for architectural visualization
workflows. The plugin integrates frontier image generation and editing
models directly inside Autodesk 3ds Max, capturing viewport with
camera context (FOV, focal length, pitch) and producing contextualized
architectural renders for production use. Currently in development
with a small group of professional CG artist testers in architectural
visualization.
Currently running on the Gemini consumer API but moving to Vertex AI
for production stability. We’ve experienced significant disruption
during the recurring “high demand” 503 outages over the past three
weeks on the consumer endpoints (May 29 - June 10), losing multiple
production days. The deprecation of the preview endpoints on June 25
adds further pressure to migrate to a stable enterprise path.
End-to-end integration is verified on gemini-2.5-flash-image. Ready
to upgrade to the 3.x models as soon as access is granted — all
infrastructure (service account, IAM, API enablement, billing) is
provisioned.
