Hi Google AI / Vertex AI team,
I’m requesting allowlist access for the following Vertex AI preview
image-generation models on a production GCP project:
- gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview
- gemini-3-pro-image-preview
== Project details ==
- GCP Project ID: liquid-sylph-494915-k9
- Endpoint: global
- Billing: enabled (active)
- Vertex AI API: enabled
- Service account role: Vertex AI User (already provisioned)
== Verification status ==
We’ve completed end-to-end integration with the GA model
gemini-2.5-flash-image on the same project, including:
- image generation (live traffic from a Photoshop UXP plugin)
- per-request billing + credit ledger
- audit logs (every request stored in usage_logs with model / size / cost)
- graceful fallback: a “model not allowlisted” error from a 3.x request
is auto-degraded to 2.5-flash-image, with delta-credits refunded — so
we can ship the upgrade gradually without breaking users
== Use case ==
A commercial Photoshop UXP plugin (“GeminiPlugin AI 2026”) that lets
graphic designers generate / iterate poster layouts, packaging mockups,
and creative compositions directly inside Photoshop. The 3.x preview
family would give us:
- 3 Pro Image: higher fidelity for final-deliverable poster work
- 3.1 Flash Image: faster latency + lower cost for the
iterate-many-times stage
== Note ==
I previously posted a similar request on Google Cloud Community
5 days ago (0 replies so far). Cross-posting here in case the AI Studio /
Vertex AI team handles preview-model allowlisting through this forum
instead. Happy to provide any additional info — security review,
content-policy compliance, expected QPS, billing tier, etc.
Thanks!
