AI Studio Excessive Quota Limits with AI coding assistant chat

Is anyone else experiencing excessive quota limits, even if using a Tier 2 or Tier 2 paid API? It seems to persistently occur in the chat thread, even on spaced out small requests.

Are you having this issue with AI enabled features that require an API key within your project, or are you being restricted from using AI Studio? A screenshot of the error would be helpful.

We are actually continually restricted from using the Code assistant. It seems excessive. It keeps popping up in the thread. I read that they throttle this to prevent abuse and suggest attempting again in a minute or two. However, that cadence doesn’t seem to work. We typically need to wait several minutes just to re-attempt the prompt. It even executes against the quota after we take a significant pause, tackle other work and return.

@Paul_123 - Can you clarify what you mean by the ‘Code assistant’? The reason I ask this is because you posted your original question in the AI Studio category, and ‘Code Assistant’ isn’t a proper label for any tool within AI Studio. This makes me think you may have accidentally posted in the wrong category. How are you accessing the Code Assistant?

I was referring to the AI Studio chat interface when building an app. Apologies for not knowing the proper naming.
