Hey folks,
Been building every day for the past month in AI Studio, and it was smooth for a while — I was making solid progress, using the Gemini model inside the App Builder flow, testing stuff, iterating. All good.
But this past week? Absolute bottleneck central.
Randomly — and I mean randomly — I keep hitting this error:
“Failed to run code assistant, quota exceeded: you have reached the daily limit of requests for this model. Please select a different model, or try again tomorrow.”
What’s weird is, it didn’t used to happen at all. I was running prompts and edits all day without issue. Now? Some days I’m an hour in and get blocked. Other times I can go longer. Doesn’t seem to correlate directly with how heavy the Gemini usage is either. Sometimes light stuff triggers it.
Feels like some hidden throttle kicked in or something changed behind the scenes?
More of a feedback post than a bug report, but if I could just pay to remove these limits, I genuinely would — because the App Builder itself is super useful. I just don’t want to keep getting iced out in the middle of flow state.
Anyone else getting this? Or am I tripping?
