Account restricted to AQ. tokens - Requesting review for AIza key restoration

Hello Google AI Developer Support Team,

I am writing to request a manual review and restoration of my Google account’s API capabilities.

Issue Description: Currently, all new API keys generated under my account—even inside brand-new projects—are being issued with the AQ. prefix instead of the standard AIza format. My project’s SDK backend is unable to recognize or authenticate these AQ. tokens, which has completely halted my development.
Could you please review my account status and restore my ability to generate standard, unrestricted AIza keys for my project testing?

We are moving away from Traffic keys (Alza) and towards a more secure Authentication Key (AQ). AI Studio will now only generate Authentication Key (AQ) keys. More information on key usage can be found in the Using Gemini API keys documentation.
