I just got a cooldown in the claude until June 2nd of this year…![]()
Today it even happened to me for the gemini 3 pro models, 3 days cooldown.
I use Kiro at work and Codex and Antigravity for personal projects. Each costs $20 per month. I’m going to cancel Google AI Pro because of the new cooldown limits. As many people have noted, Gemini 3 Pro is almost useless for development, and I’m not going to pay $20 for such restrictive Claude limits in Antigravity.
It makes more sense either to get a $20 Claude subscription with higher usage limits, or to go for the $40 Kiro plan, which offers the same Claude models without a 5-hour rolling window.
the pro sub weekly limits makes this unusable for any dev work, I don’t know how free users will get the chance of testing this new ide if the limits are so restrictive like this.
why no one on youtube and other social media mentioning this yet ???
Just got quota limited for gemini 3 flash, guess in future thats what we get, 5 hour reset on flash, all the other models on Ultra plan.
You pay 20 bucks a month just to end up getting capped after like twenty uses on Claude Opus 4.5.
I’m cancelling my subscription
And don’t even get me started on Gemini Pro 3 everything I did with Claude Opus 4.5 got completely wrecked when I tried it on Gemini Pro 3

Hey guys,
just look here in this post. Maybe it helps!
In my opinion, Anthropic is now focusing its resources on its tools. For Antigravity, this will only be resolved with a potential Gemini 3.5 on par with Claude 4.5. As for code, Google will likely remain six months behind Anthropic for some time to come.
I can’t say its 100%, but I have the same suspicion.
When I let the quota run out, it followed 7 days reset.
When I stopped at 20% 5h reset was applied.
I haven’t tested it exactly yet, just confirming that’s my feeling too.
Where can I check the quota used? Thanks!
You have to install an extension, look for the ”quota” extensions
As we balance giving the best possible quotas and maintaining fairness between users, especially under incredible demand, we’ve established weekly limits for all models. These limits do not apply to Google AI Ultra, which continues to be the best plan for power developers! See https://antigravity.google/docs/plans for the latest.
We understand “the incredible demand” pitch, as ANTHROPIC’S Opus 4.5 and .6 are amazing, and you are giving us access through Antigravity. You are, however, NOT COMMUNICATING well with your customers.
I am considering going Ultra, but how do I know when things like this with Pro will start to happen? (notice I use the verb WHEN, rather than the conditional IF, as we now EXPECT Google to suddenly change their conditions without EVER explaining to the customers).
I am sorry, but I am pretty sure the incredible demand is because of the exploited pro accounts that are currently being sold & generated..
I resolved the issue by contacting support. The problem was with my account, which didn’t have age confirmation.
I swear
I’ve been a google pro user for 3-4 months now and I am disappointed to say the least. This 7 day long cooldown period wasn’t conveyed to the end user.
Pretty bad experience
hey!!
How is it going with Kiro?
Should I make that switch as well?
I have tried them all now
Kiro, AntiGravity, Claude. They each have their pros and cons. Kiro is super transparent about quota and usage. Code comes out good and the auto mode (for model selection based on intent) keeps it sane. Though the UX it generates is dinosauric compared to what you get with AntiGravity.
Antigravity is super opaque and unpredictable about usage. A sudden quota drop breaks productivity and flow. It is super annoying. The UX it generates is fantastic though.
Claude - wins when it comes to reasoning with the code base and updating code. It also almost always is on point when troubleshooting issues.
Am I off antiGravity completely - no. Am I an extremely frustrated Pro subscriber - hell yeah.
Do I use Kiro - absolutely and I love the transparency.
What will I use long term - probably Claude. When all the bells and whistles are ignored, it just wins on reasoning and code quality. Why haven’t I made the switch yet? I am an IDE first dev and just haven’t gotten around to setting up VSCode and Claude but any day now.
Tengo una cuenta pro y otra plus y con ambas estoy teniendo los mismos problemas… tiempos de espera de 3 a 7 dias… una lastima. Todo comenzo cuando actualice Antigravity e hice un uso mayor de los modelos de Claude
I`m not renewing by sub after this.
