was your other API key also linked to the same GCP project? or was it linked to another one, hence passing the billing onto that other project.

Hi, im encountering the issue, it was working for 2 months and now it is almost unusable with 1.5 flash, 2.5 pro and 2.5 flash

I recommend using latest models 2.5s for better performance.

Same issue. Started yesterday after switching from 2.0 flash to 2.5 flash. Switched back to 2.0 flash and tested with lower requests, tokens etc. Same error. The funny thing is I am getting the error right in a second. So, I guess it does not even call the API. Please fix.
I’m having the same issue, free tier, but way below limits (16 requests in a day out of 50, nowhere near 2 RPM) flash 2.5 - it was intermittent earlier today, now its permanent.
I’m not expecting a lot from the free tier, but this is not making me want to upgrade, I also want to allow my users to use their own api key, paid or free, but it needs to be reliable for that to work.
