Show thoughts doesn’t seem to be available. It is MUCH harder to submit bug reports or even add custom instructions if we cannot see WHY the AI is doing something.
Results alone are often misleading, removing this feature is a terrible mistake.
Worse, considering how often the AI will attempt to CHEAT instead of actually following instructions, using various “shortcuts” - or what it BELIEVES are shortcuts but in reality are almost always DEFIANCE OF DIRECT INSTRUCTION if not complete fabrifications…
It starts to look more and more like this is just more corporate greed.
Hide the process, people have to use worse prompts and custom instructions and thus need more generations, while simultaneously also hiding incompetence.
