Google Gemini has become horrible. No matter how many times I try to prompt it, it doesn’t enable its thinking mode. It is trying to skimp on tokens. Even after setting a thinking budget, it still does the same thing.

It has been more than 6 months. Not only has this problem not been fixed yet, but it’s becoming more egregious and stopping even after just a few prompts.
