You made Jayu right? Amazing stuff! Love it! Got my vote!

This is truly a great and beneficial project for both us and our children.

on the top of my list check it out

Despite the fact that many specifics regarding the apps are missing (code, execution, etc.), I watched the videos of various apps and cast my vote for the ones that most convinced me. In my opinion, the most important factor is impactfulness, which is also related to the competition’s general spirit and has to do with addressing significant global challenges that affect a larger number of people on multiple continents. And, I’m wondering if Christopher Lloyd (who announced the Gemini API competition in the famous competition introductory video) has submitted one of the 3046 final apps that were definitely selected for judging ?, quite curious:)

Top of the list because it’s yours. Did you read OP?

Probably haven’t seen this.

Omni is a good app but winners are selected based on Remarkability, Creativity, Usefulness, Impactfulness, and Execution. Sometimes, things look complex but they are really simple. I like this GUI Dog  |  Gemini API Developer Competition  |  Google AI for Developers over omni.

My favorite submissions are:

I understand your point, but Omni is far from being simple. It’s composed of roughly 10,000 lines of code across Bash, Swift, Python, and C++, and it’s continuously evolving to handle more complex tasks. When you think about it, Omni represents the pinnacle of usefulness. It’s not confined to any particular field; it’s applicable to anyone with a laptop. If you take a closer look at the more advanced examples I’ve shared on Omni’s page, you’ll see the level of sophistication I’m referring to.

The version in the demo is an old version, recently I added a feature called Multi-step context aware execution. The new algorithm will enable Omni to generate a series of interdependent code snippets, each building upon the output and insights gained from the previous one, which will make it able to do very complex tasks.

I agree - no hate - but it’s really just hitting the usefulness category. For Mac only im guessing right now. It’s not a novel concept I’ve been using pywinassitant for a bit on windows. I asked Jayu if he built on top of it but he didn’t even know it existed from what I understood.

No games mentioned?

Favorite game of the bunch. It has some Loop Hero vibes, and I love the idea of writing your own cards with “letter remover”.

There’s a gist of a great idea here, where different players come in to a scenario and AI assigns them a role that fits with the others. I think they were overambitious here and didn’t really deliver on it though.

This one has great UI/UX. I’d probably pay for this if they can keep the story coherent. I like the idea of these games where the story just slightly bends to fit the character. RPGs today are often missing the RP part.

This is such a mad scientist idea. I doubt it would win, sorry, but I look forward to the 24/7 livestream. It seems like a bit like Epic Battle Simulator, probably a rich source of memes, AI humor, and some of those Dwarf Fortress-style procedurally generated fun. Especially if they manage to somehow link a twitch stream to bias the AI or something.
