Today I logged into AI Studio and noticed that by default, Gemini 1.5 Pro was selected for me (not 002, but the regular one, surprisingly). Scrolling through the list, I couldn’t find my favorite Experimental 0827, nor the other two. The section with experimental models was gone…
Also, all my system instructions disappeared from chats, which doesn’t make me any happier. Could you at least notify us before making such changes so that people have a chance to back up their prompts?

One good news is that you can easily access the content of the chat log by downloading it from Google Drive as a .txt file.
Just a bit of Unicode decoding is required.

But i found 002 better than experimental, at least that what i think. Imo 002 is better at recalling information than 0827
Experimental 0827 was, hands down, the best version of any AI I´ve ever used. “1.5 Pro 002” is just so much dumber, it almost feels like GPT 3.5. It makes the same mistakes over and over again. I can´t count how many times I´ve told it to always output the FULL code when coding, not using placeholders, yet it does this right after I said it, again and again, this really feels like 2023 again 
Not sure how they could put Pro 002 as the best and newest model, Experimental 0827 was WAY ahead of it. Bring it back!
