I’m not quite sure I understand your question, or how it relates to what you posted.

In general - backend developers are more specialized in services and network coordination than in UI issues. It tends to include other fields such as database design and API design, but often other things such as observability, metrics, monitoring, account management, and devOps.

They are most definitely “coders”.
