My team is maintaining LinkedIn’s Tensorflow build and releases. We recently ran into investigations on whether TF community is indicating certain 2.* version to be EOL by certain date. Or whether all versions are equal (LTS ones versus regular ones).
We are not able to find much public information other than Google Cloud Tensorflow Enterprise statement: TensorFlow Enterprise release notes | Google Cloud Documentation
but this page seems to be not updated after 2023.
Could anyone shine some lights? Key questions we are trying to figure out:
- Do TF OSS 2.* versions esp. 2.16 & 2.17 have any determined EOL date?
- Do we have LTS version versus regular version split? If so, where can we find which version is deemed LTS, and what difference we should expect in terms of maintenance and support?
