Update On LiveClientRealtimeInput

  message := &genai.LiveClientMessage{
  	RealtimeInput: &genai.LiveClientRealtimeInput{
  		MediaChunks: []*genai.Blob{
  			{
  				Data:     buffer,
  				MIMEType: "audio/pcm;rate=16000",
  			},
  		},
  	},
  }

Hello, I’m passing full audio chunk to the server so I dont want the AI to wait for additional audio, is there a way to signal to generate a response from it ?

Similar to LiveClientContent, there’s a TurnComplete property that i can set but not the LiveClientRealtimeInput as it only have mediachunk.

Scenario: The client app, detects Voice Activity and sends it to the server once done. So the server, can simply pass in the full audio data to Google server, thus, the AI dont need to wait for additional input, it should generate a response automatically.

Google AI has Voice Activity Detector built into it, but I want to do initial audio filter on client side before passing data.

One thing you might try is to append some faked silence at the end of the full audio chunk. That should indicate the user has stopped talking and is now expecting an answer.
Just an idea, hope it helps.
