I’m experiencing a massive spike in quota depletion even after updating to the latest Antigravity IDE version, and I wanted to see if anyone else is running into this or if it’s a known tracking bug.
The Issue: I am on the Google AI Pro plan. I just sent a single, straightforward question using Gemini 3.5 Flash (High), and it instantly burned through 1% of my 5-hour limit. This is just one example of the lower quota.
Historical Comparison: This is completely different from the behavior I saw 2 to 4 weeks ago. Back then, I could run heavy development sessions for hours using Gemini 3.1 Pro high plan mode, and a massive chunk of work would only consume about 10–20% of the entire 5-hour window. Now, a single prompt takes a full percentage point, making it feel like I’ve been downgraded to a free tier tiering system. In addition, I noticed that the quota from before only get updated every 10%, whereas now it can update in decimals.
I noticed some recent discussions about an increase in quota limits, but my account seems to be experiencing the exact opposite.
The same problem, on Pro plan, using Antigravity 2.0 with latest update and even in the new window one single question about the project and burned 1% of 5 hour limit, i cant understand i just give 5-6 questions that very simple - burned 7% of 5 hour limit, thats crazy

Had upgraded to Ultra due to having a massive project that I knew would use lots of quota and have seen the same issue.
Last week did lots of heavy programming and analysis and even some /goal tasks overnight and still managed to have a small amount of weekly quota left over which was fine.
It would do the coding changes, start the testing, set a timer, and check every now and then but quiet between timers.
Then in last 2-3 days very simple tasks end up with Gemini spamming through cycles of examining and doing small actions and eating up even the Ultra plan daily and weekly quota at an alarming rate.
I typed one simple question got 5 lines of an answer and went from 21% to 2% from 5h. lost 19% from 1 prompt man, not sure what’s happening 2 weeks after using Pro and my usage is draining like crazy.
Before I could use 3.7 with medium and i didn’t have to worry, now I put low on 3.6 and it drains like at least 6 times faster.
Edit:- I believe in my case it was because of MCP error silently failing in background, it kept on looping on analyzing the same code lines and that’s how I found the issue in my case. the weird thing is the MCP error badge didn’t pop in the prompt box like it used to, because I thought I fixed it a long time ago, I deleted the telemetry folder and the usage doesn’t spike as much.
