I lost against a much better project than mine and that’s fine, the truth is that I had a lot of fun in this contest, despite the work and effort that I have put into my project, I think that the judges gave the opportunity to someone with a better idea and that’s fine.
We should also thank @Lloyd_Hightower for his enormous work and contribution in this contest, I’m sure that we can all learn something from this and improve, for my part I will continue working on my project.
I hope everyone has a great day and continues programming as they have done so far.
Congrats to all the winners and participants! And a big thank you to @Lloyd_Hightower and the whole team at Google!
Personally, while I didn’t win a prize, the competition was a net positive for me. It provided some extra fuel - and a deadline - for building the most basic MVP for my new startup DoYoBooks. Funnily enough, the app I presented in the video is embarrassingly out of date, just a few months later.
DoYoBooks - a Gemini-powered bookkeeper - will be launching soon at www.DoYoBooks.com.
