I have all three $20 AI plans, and before today’s release, Gemini/Antigravity was clearly the worst, due to the terrible agentic ability (see the agentic tab of intelligence benchmarks), and heavy restriction on think level because of the overly generous free tier and all the different ways you can get AI Pro for free (buy a phone, be a college student, buy a mobile phone plan in India, just to name a few). Since AI Pro is a family plan, people had six full accounts which was absurd.
I am so happy the usage quota came out, people need to learn to not use Pro + Extended Thinking on every task and ruin the experience for everyone else. Compute is expensive. Flash 3.5 + Standard Thinking is amazing. Now they are metered properly for their waste. The new Antigravity 2.0 UI is exactly what we need to compete with Claude Code and Codex. Everyone who needs a code editor can use Visual Studio Code with extension or download the Antigravity IDE edition. By default, Antigravity CLI needs to look like Claude Code, Antigravity needs to look like Claude Desktop/Codex. This is how you turn around the extremely low market share against dominant products.
I am loving the new Flash 3.5 which is 95% the ability of Opus/5.5, 1,200% the speed (I can’t keep up with it mentally!) and 30% the cost. I can’t wait for 3.5 Pro! The benchmarks here don’t lie:

Keep doing what you do, with my $199 a year plan I get full AI features and 5TB Google Drive for the whole family, Youtube Premium Lite for myself, and the Gemini Omini for image/video as well! Folks will cancel, try other options, but then they will realize there is no better value in AI. Nothing even close. Enterprise and Schools are the same way. They already have Google Workspace, pay a bit more and this is just way cheaper than dedicated OpenAI and Anthropic subscriptions for their employees.
I already canceled Codex after their nerf. I am cancelling Claude Code after their usage promotion runs out.
