Hello, since this morning, Speech Generation no longer works. When you paste the text and click on the button, it says “No Audio Generated”. Sometimes it works if it’s just a sentence, but even that’s random. As soon as it’s a paragraph, it no longer works. And the problem is systematic whether for mono or multi-speaker mode. I even tried on several browsers, same problem.
Welcome to the Forum !
I tried testing from my end with Gemini Flash Preview as well as Gemini Pro Preview models for more than 10 times, both with mono or multi-speaker mode .It worked fine.
Please find the attached screenshot:
It was working early this morning, but now the problem is still there. Sometimes, it work with only few sentences, but then, it stop working completely. I’ve tried to looking for some blocking on my side (DNS, Firewall), but all is fine.
It seem that I figured out, the error message was simply because of some banned words or sensible content who can’t processed by the speech generation. A better error messages will be welcome to inform that the text and some words are not allowed.
Same here, it hasn’t been working since yesterday.
Only one sentence can be produced.
Two or more sentences fail.
[UPDATE]
solved … it’s working fine now
Am experiencing the same issue as well today 27th of Agyst 2025. it says no auido generated try to input just a sentence sometimes it works some time it doesnt . its very fustrating please they should work on it asap.
I decided to try https://aistudio.google.com/generate-speech - and see how it generates sounds for blind and visually impaired computer users. It took over 10 minutes to generate a basic sentence (under 300 characters), but it worked. The 2nd time, it stuttered and created grunge effects like a drill machine. My system is HP Envy 300 AMD, 1TB, 32 Ram, etc., and it perfectly generates other AI sounds via Pinokio, etc. I really like the FREE Google AI narrators because of their natural voice inflections, but the generation time is killing, and there is no visible button to contact Google for help or send audio samples for analysis. Any HELP? THX
