Good day.
Yesterday, I developed a website using Antigravity IDE, and today when I reopened it with Antigravity, I was met with a blank agent window. Since the site’s framework was finished yesterday, I requested a general UX check and security scan, and corrections. Previously, it would perform scans and prepare plans based on my request, but now it has completely refused. Because of this, I gave up on the security scan and only requested a UX check. Again, it said that this was strictly prohibited by the system and refused to review it. Even though I tried to explain that the site is entirely on my computer, that I am the developer, and that it runs on XAMPP, it consistently refused to review it, and even when I asked it to clean up the code, it rejected that request, considering it a security scan. It’s clear that a system prompt has been given to the model in the background. Is this a bug unique to me, or is it a general over-refusal error? How can I fix this?
I was only able to partially reproduce the behavior. In my testing, Antigravity refused security review requests for a local XAMPP project, but UI review, code refactoring, and cleanup worked as expected.
Could you please share few details:
- What operating system are you using?
- Which Antigravity IDE version are you using?
- Which model was selected when the issue occurred?
- Could you share exact step-by-step reproduction steps, starting from opening the project?
- What were the exact prompts you used before the refusal occurred?
- If possible, could you share a screenshot or the full conversation showing the refusal?
