safety_settings Corresponds to Gemini’s SafetySetting is still in extra_body at OpenAI compatibility | Gemini API | Google AI for Developers and still doesn’t work. Some other people reported about this issue, Google developer @gunand_mayanglambam promised a fix back in May and July in different topics, but so far nothing has been done!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Support for the OpenAI libraries is in beta as we extend feature support. The safety settings feature is not currently available in the OpenAI compatibility framework. In the meantime, please refer to the documentation for a list of available features.
