I am at the free tier, don’t know if it is happening at paid plan too.

I think you’re having the same thing as me. I use AI Studio, and it gives only 2 RPM (requests per minute) and 50 RPD (requests per day) for free users for this model. I’m guessing you’ve just reached your limit. First, wait about two minutes, then your requests per minute limit will reset and try again. If this does not help, then you have exhausted your daily limit. The daily limit is updated at 00:00 Mountain View time.

That seems to be it indeed. I think the API message was not very descriptive.

I am experiencing the same issue even though I am using a paid API key. I am unsure of the cause.
