[Quota Limit Reached] Billing Enabled, but Project Seems Stuck on Free-Tier Quotas for Gemini API

Hello,

I have a Google Cloud project with billing correctly enabled and linked. I am attempting to use the Gemini API with the gemini-2.5-pro model.

Despite being a paid user, I am consistently hitting a “Quota Limit Reached” error. My current usage is far below the expected Standard Paid Tier limits (e.g., I’ve only made a small number of requests, significantly under 50,000 RPD).

I suspect my project’s quotas have not correctly been uplifted from the Free Tier limits (which are much lower).

Could a support representative please investigate and manually ensure my project is assigned the correct Standard Paid Tier quotas for the Gemini API?
