Proposal: Introducing a Creator Economy & Incentive Program for AI Developers (Gemini/Antigravity)

Hi everyone,

As an active developer in the Google AI ecosystem and a Google AI Pro/Plus subscriber, I’ve been thinking about how Google could further accelerate the growth and adoption of its tools, specifically around platforms like Antigravity.

Currently, thousands of developers spend hours training models, refining complex prompts, sharing workflows, and educating the community. This collective effort heavily contributes to the optimization of Gemini models and the expansion of the entire ecosystem.

However, there is currently no native way for technical creators to monetize this contribution. To foster a thriving developer ecosystem, I believe Google should consider introducing an incentive or revenue-sharing program, such as:

  1. A Revenue-Sharing Model: Allowing creators to earn based on the usage or popularity of their shared custom workflows and training datasets.
  2. A Native AI Marketplace: A space within Google AI tools where developers can share, buy, or sell advanced templates, custom agent configurations, and prompt structures.
  3. Developer Grants & Bounties: Official rewards for developers who create and document innovative use cases for new programming paradigms.

By rewarding the developer community for their educational and training contributions, Google could build a powerful creator economy that makes its AI ecosystem much more competitive.

What do you all think? Would you participate in an incentive program like this? I’d love to hear thoughts from both the community and the Google Product Teams!
