Hi, my name is José, on the last 1-2 months i’m having some troubles with the agent of build mode in ai google studio, sometimes when i enter a prompt the agent don’t take the actions to edit/create the files, he just answer me with a fake message saying that, and don’t make any action on the files, i need to prompt again like “make the changes” 1-2x times to him do what i want him to do, can someone help me? sorry for my bad english.

- Refresh the AI Studio page or reopen it in a new browser window.
- Clear browser cache and cookies, then sign in again.

Esse mesmo erro ocorre comigo. O Ai Studio informa no chat que os arquivos de códigos foram alterados, mas a alteção não é realizada nos arquivos do projeto. Isso tem tem gerado bastante transtorno por aqui.
This behavior usually happens when the AI Studio “Build” agent stalls in the code editing pipeline rather than the chat response layer. The system relies on a background execution service to apply actions (file creation or edits) after a prompt is parsed. When latency or state desynchronization occurs—often from long browser sessions or cached build contexts—the agent may reply with a confirmation message but skip the actual file operation. The quickest fix is to refresh your project workspace or clear the chat context using Reset thread before issuing a new build prompt. Also verify you’re in Build mode, not Chat mode, since only Build mode executes file edits.
If the issue persists across sessions, open Chrome DevTools to confirm no blocked requests to studio-ai.googleapis.com; intermittent connectivity can cause the agent to miss the apply step. Persistent misfires tied to your project should be reported through the AI Studio feedback option in the bottom-left panel so the session logs can be inspected by the product team.

Even if i logout or clean the browser cache the problem still happening

A fix has been rolled out to improve this behavior, which should significantly reduce issue with updating file.
