Pro plan locked out in VS Code – extension out of sync with my dashboard

Hey everyone,

I’m hitting a really frustrating issue where my VS Code extension has completely locked me out, even though my account dashboard says my quotas are wide open.

Right now, my web dashboard shows both of my Five Hour Limits at 100%, and my weekly limits are barely touched (only 10% used for Gemini and 32% for Claude/GPT). But inside VS Code, every single model has a red status indicator and is showing a multi-day countdown timer.

I’ve been stuck like this for over 7 hours now. To make sure it wasn’t a local issue, I checked to ensure no background agent loops were running, hard-killed the background IDE processes in Task Manager, restarted VS Code, cleared the extension cache, and tried logging out and back in. Nothing has worked and it’s still stuck on red.

It feels like my Pro subscription token just isn’t syncing to the extension properly. Could someone from the engineering team please look at my account on the back end and force a sync refresh so I can get back to work? I’ve attached screenshots showing the mismatch between the dashboard and my IDE panel.

Appreciate any eyes on this!

Your images look all right

  • The first image is related to your weekly quota
  • The weekly quota takes priority over the 5-Hours one.

Related to the second point: If your weekly quota reaches zero and you open that screen then your 5-Hours quota indicator will reach zero too with a different message explaining the cause.

No, what is displayed in that VS community plugin is that you have a 9.7% left of quota of your Gemini Model quota and a 32% left of quota of your Other Models quota. That matches what the official Model quota viewer shows.
