Please stop the free student promos. They are being mass-exploited and ruining the service for paying users

I seriously doubt the current student discounts are actually going to real students. I’ve discovered a Chinese website that offers a free, automated student verification service. All users have to do is paste the verification link, and the system automatically grants them Pro status.

Looking at the site’s live data, about 200 fake “students” are successfully passing verification every 10 minutes.

These illegitimate accounts are flooding the system and completely impacting the performance for those of us who actually pay for the subscription. Even if you just charged a nominal fee of $1, it would filter out a massive amount of these fake accounts.

These fake student accounts are hogging massive amounts of compute resources. I paid $200 for the Ultra plan, yet I’m still fighting with ‘Agent execution terminated due to error’ messages every single day. It’s ridiculous that free exploiters get access while paying customers get errors.

Please fix this.

I’m from morocco, i see moroccan ads all the time about google ai accounts of 1 year being sold for like 5usd. I might probably buy one too due to how trash recently antigravity have been.

Oh! So that’s the issue. I can do that too, but I don’t misuse it. Anyway, Antigravity is currently unusable, and it’s so frustrating for me because my plan is expiring soon and I need to finish my project before then, which now feels impossible. I’m frustrated and wondering how this can happen, especially since Google is such a big tech company. Maybe they haven’t fixed it yet or haven’t even identified the problem.
