Persistent HTTP 400 "Invalid project resource name projects/" - Account Provisioning Stuck

Hello,

I am a Google AI Pro subscriber experiencing a persistent HTTP 400 error in Antigravity IDE that I cannot resolve through local troubleshooting. Despite my Pro status, the Agent Manager consistently fails with the following error:

  • Error: Invalid project resource name projects/

  • Status: INVALID_ARGUMENT

Troubleshooting Steps Already Completed:

  1. Project Alignment: Confirmed my Project ID

  2. API Status: Verified and manually enabled the Gemini API (formerly Generative Language API) in the Google Cloud Console for this project.

  3. Local Reset: Performed a deep clean of %APPDATA%\Antigravity and %USERPROFILE%\.config\opencode.

  4. Manual Injection: Manually created antigravity-accounts.json and set the ANTIGRAVITY_PROJECT_ID environment variable.

  5. Re-installation: Completed a fresh install and signed out/in multiple times.

The IDE appears to be failing to “stitch” my account to the project ID during the initial handshake, resulting in an empty project string in the API request.

Could a developer please look into my account provisioning?

I have the same issue for a week now, please assist us :folded_hands:

Sorry to hear you’re stuck too, @Mensekoftei. I’m a faculty member at St Lawrence College and have been down for 2 weeks with this. I’ve already filed an In-App Feedback report as well. If you haven’t yet, you should do the same—mentioning the ‘0 Quota’ and ‘projects/’ error seems to be the key for their internal escalation.

Folks…. After a week of trying everything, finally found a fix that works.. if it applies : Critical Bug: Persistent HTTP 400 "Invalid project resource name projects/" even after Gmail switch - #27 by mattorq

John, thanks so much for letting me know.

I suspected that my dual accounts had something to do with it. I purchased my pro account to develop professional resources for my school and so I wanted to keep that fully separate from my personal google account. When I began, I had added the 2nd account within my same chrome profile. Later I created a completely separate Chrome profile. I still can access using my personal account, but that one isn’t the paid subscription so has limited access, and I don’t want to use my personal access for my employer’s resources.
I’m not sure I want to delete the new gmail address just yet but will further explore options along these lines. Thanks for letting me know.
