Hi!
I am deploying the app on behalf of the startup that I am working for, do we (the startup) keep the rights of the app for further commercialization? (Despite opening the source code)
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!
I assume this is a question about the Competition? Keep in mind that we are not lawyers, however…
If so, then the rules state:
You retain ownership of all intellectual and industrial property rights (including moral rights) in and to the information, in connection with Your Submission.
However, keep in mind that you are also giving Google a license to everything you submit as well.
@Fernando_Asensio_Mun Hey Fernando you keep the rights to your app. We just have the right to use your app for marketing materials and assets. Aka featuring your app in a project gallery, company video, etc. The app is yours and we will never claim it as ours we just will be able to show it off which I think to most would be a good thing The ability to be able to show off apps that were built with our Gemini models is important to us, which is why we are running this competition.
Thanks all for the answers!

@Lloyd_Hightower little confused with the completion of the app. Please help to clarify whether the app should be fully completed (things which are not related to Gemini) for qualification or partial app which consist complete code of implementation and functionality of Gemini api will work?
