Temporary Chat is a fantastic feature for one-off questions and keeping the sidebar clean. However, there are many times when a quick, “temporary” question unexpectedly evolves into a highly valuable, in-depth conversation or brainstorming session.
Currently, there is no way to save this valuable interaction. Once the window is closed, the conversation is lost forever unless the user manually copies and pastes everything into a document or a new chat, which is tedious and breaks the workflow.
Proposed Solution: Please add a “Save to History” or “Convert to Regular Chat” button within the Temporary Chat interface. Clicking this button would:

Instantly move the current conversation out of temporary mode.

Save it to the user’s “Recent Chats” history.

Allow the chat to be continued later with standard features (like Extensions) enabled.
Why This is Helpful:

Prevents Data Loss: Users won’t lose unexpectedly great ideas or solutions just because they started in the wrong mode.

Better User Experience: Eliminates the need for awkward workarounds like manual copy-pasting.

Flexibility: Gives users the freedom to start private and opt-in to saving later if the content proves useful.
