The lack of a unified API interface has been a huge challenge for many developers. It seems like OpenAI and some others in the industry just released this a few days ago. Are there any plans to support this with the Gemini API? I know the interactions API is new but seems like this would be great to provide developers flexibility when choosing the provider.

This would be great to see, as a framework author (beetstack) I just so happened to be at the beginnings of building out the agent harness just as this was announced and will be standardizing on Open Responses. Would love to have gemini as a first class provider alongside openai, hf and ollama.
