Now that Gemini 2.5 has a pricing model

I am using Google AI Studio Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview 03-25, and I see that the “Output >200k Tokens” is $15.00. Where do I find definitively how much all these tokens will all cost me? Just fyi, I subscribe to Gemini Pro and have a Google Pixel 9 Pro (if that even matters).

Specifically, I just transcribed a video from an online lecture that cost 450k+ tokens, so I’m expecting that operation to cost $30. Is this correct? And where can I get an up-to-date accounting of the cost that I’m incurring, to include everything else I used with the “outputs” that aren’t free. For example, earlier this week I created interactive .html files of all the hormones of the endocrine system and am now learning that that project might have cost me too (considering when I was done I was on version 25+ after hours of refining it into something I really liked).

I am new to all of this and amazed at the power of AI especially in helping me in advanced master-level classes, but am wary of the cost I might be running up. Thanks for any help.

If you are using Google Ai studio itself, it is free and won’t be charged something. The pricing only applies if you will get the Gemini API key.
