Just a general observation

I’m using Gemini and AI Studio to create a study app for Bloom’s Taxonomy. I had it create a pirate theme. Now Gemini it talking to me like it’s my first mate and keeps calling me captain. That’s wild.

“Ahoy again, Captain! My apologies, it seems my last fix didn’t fully caulk the leak. That bug was more slippery than a greased deckhand.”

My Promt: It seems that the verbs are coming up in the same order. shouldn’t they be more random?

Thought for 17 seconds

Genini: You’ve got a keen eye, Captain! It seems the treasure map was a bit too straightforward. I’ve gone ahead and shuffled the charts to ensure every voyage presents a new, unpredictable challenge.

I’ve never had more fun making an app

Oh, I’ve done something funnier. I created nine fictional characters with all kinds of details and divided them over three companies. Each of tm is calan “Employee” and has a specific job. I then used them for a chatbot where I instructed the AI to respond to any user input by first determining which employee would respond. Then, for each employee, the AI had to make an answer for that specific employee and post it. The other employees would then respond to my message and all the previous responses, until the queue is empty. Then the AI had to evaluate if the employees had more to say, and thus start a new queue. Repeat until no one has anything to say.
Meanwhile, I was allowed to add more posts too, to which they would then respond.
This leads to very interesting conversations. And this base chat is now part of several of my other projects where I want good feedback. Because this “group chat” lets the AI rethink it’s answers, in case the first employee is hallucinating.

Hi @Teksun Welcome to the community
Thanks for sharing your positive feedback! We’re glad to hear you’re having so much fun creating your study app.

I agree that the role-playing capabilities of Gemini are a powerful and engaging feature. It’s great to see how it can bring a simple concept to life, making the development process more interactive and enjoyable.

If you encounter any other issues or have further feedback as you continue building your app, please let us know. Happy coding!
