I’m using Gemini AI to extract data from image PDF forms, and I’m encountering an issue with reading checkbox responses correctly. When I try to extract the checkbox data, the responses are either not captured at all or are read incorrectly.
Here’s a summary of the issue:
What I expect: When parsing a PDF with checkboxes, the AI should capture the selected or deselected state of the checkbox (e.g., true/false).
What is happening: The AI seems to either miss the checkbox responses or return an incorrect value (e.g., it shows “false” when the box is checked).
I’ve already tried:

Ensuring the checkboxes are recognized as form fields in the PDF.
