Can’t find an explicit Plan mode button like we had before, and asking the agent to plan first doesn’t always work.
I didn’t find it either, but I found that sometimes the agent makes one anyway of its own volition, so it must be there under the hood. I was actually trying to find a way to turn it off because I often use very detailed and structured prompts with a plan already in place and I don’t want the agent to drift from what I already have.
Worst update ever. Disabling Plan Mode was one of the best features in Antigravity, and they removed it. Seriously… shame on you, Google.

Yeah you have to tell it to make a plan now. Same with just chatting about the code you should write that no code update is needed. It’s a step back as I think having at least these three modes as selectable is a better experience.
