Inquiry to official staff regarding gemini settings:
I want to ask all official staff:
While you keep releasing so-called "new features,"
you completely ignore modifications to the fundamental logic.
This includes adding, modifying, and changing code out of thin air without user input.
Even code that was working correctly before, simply requiring a color change (e.g., from black to white),
gemini can arbitrarily delete all the code,
and then tell the user that history has been deleted and cannot be recovered.
I want to ask:
What are all the engineers doing?
Is it really like the Chinese proverb: "All that glitters is not gold," but rotten inside?
The issue of code being completely wiped by the garbage Gemini occurred at least 5 times as of December 19, 2025.
What are the official engineers doing? Are they just taking their salaries without making any improvements?
Are you misunderstanding something???
Please read the post carefully before replying, OK???
The main point of my post is:
The user did not authorize or issue any deletion command.
Gemini has repeatedly deleted the user’s code without cause.
And it cannot be restored in any way.
The same stupid behavior is repeated every day.
And how many similar posts have been published on this forum?
The engineers are completely ignoring them??
They keep releasing so-called “new features,”
but can’t even fix the most basic problems???
This is completely different from what you posted, isn’t it???
@doneforaiur
Don’t ask me whether I’ve read the information provided above.
I’m simply asking this:
The most basic requirement of Gemini is to follow user instructions.
Since the user did not issue any deletion commands, nor any instructions to modify any sections,
Gemini arbitrarily deleting content and randomly modifying parts that were explicitly forbidden to be changed—
These two points alone are sufficient to demonstrate problems in Gemini’s underlying logic.
All other so-called information is just empty talk.
I’m not trying to argue or start a dispute.
I simply want to express this:
If it cannot even handle the most fundamental logical judgment and instruction parsing,
then what is the point of releasing a large number of new features?
Previously, I have already reported and published feedback regarding Gemini’s errors—
at least five issues or more.
Up to now, there has been no improvement at all.
The same errors persist, and content continues to be deleted arbitrarily.
