I would like to know if the new AI tools added to Google Workspace, such as Gemini or Gemini integrated into Meet, could lead to an increase in the usage of local GPU resources on laptops where they are running.
Welcome to the forum. The cloud based services do not offload some of the task to your local machine. Your machine is only involved in packaging (encoding) the request to send to the cloud based service and unpacking (decoding) the response received from the cloud service. These operations are running on the local machine CPU, so no impact to the GPU whatsoever.
