i was short in time and created a a prompt to help me with a perimetral security homework. we talked a lot and suddenly it seemed obvious to me before continuing we had to settle the previous objectives and try to manage all the information that we decided would help developing a text that 100% was compliance to what i was asked… so i mentioned iteration, it started to flow and was quite amazing. after it finished i had a perfect text with all i needed. when to relax a bit and when i came back everything related to it was deletend from my AI Studio. quite scary experience most say . where did it all go?

AI Studio saves your prompt (and full history of the conversation with Gemini) only when you use the Save button near the top next to “Get Code”. If you don’t save your session, and then close the browser, the information in the chat is lost.

Google made it hard with the recent update to AI Studio weeks ago. Before the update, browser would prompt for unsaved changes but after the update the chat session window silently acknowledges window close without browser tab prompting user if they’d like to proceed with closing.

Thanks for the reply orangeNebula i wonder where should i communicate with becouse i need tech support on the matter. the A.I was saved becouse when you add the name it automatically save the first time i did the name as soom as it started iterating
It was saved i saw it saving i probably need to communicate with a support on the matter to see if they have access to history and see if it was deleted from my part, or it was actually from their end
The way to get to support is https://support.google.com. Then, pick cloud, since that is where a backup would be. Make sure to provide your project id.
