I’ve been using Antigravity IDE for a long time, and unfortunately my experience has become increasingly frustrating.
I honestly don’t know what the developers are doing, but almost every update introduces serious new problems. Instead of improving the tool, it feels like each new model makes it less reliable.
Antigravity IDE no longer remembers the context of the work properly. It has started mixing unrelated tasks together and often works completely outside of the plan it created. It can’t even read files correctly anymore—it only processes them partially.
For example, if I ask it to translate an entire file, it may only translate two or three lines and ignore the rest. This never used to happen. Previous versions were able to complete these tasks without any issues.
Please understand that people are paying for this product every month. As paying customers, we expect updates to improve the software, not reduce its functionality. Unfortunately, with each new model release, more problems appear, and basic features become less reliable.
One of the biggest issues is that your software wastes our usage limits. The AI spends tokens creating a detailed execution plan, but when it actually starts working, it doesn’t follow that plan. Out of six planned tasks, it may complete only one and ignore the rest.
This means users lose valuable limits because of the AI’s inconsistent behavior rather than because of the amount of work requested.
I hope the development team investigates these regressions seriously, because the current experience is significantly worse than it was before. Reliability and consistency are far more important than adding new models if those models cannot perform basic tasks correctly.
