I migrated my Google account from a non-Gmail login (Proton Mail based) to a native Gmail address. AI Ultra subscription transferred fine and works everywhere (Gemini web, Google One, all other services), except Antigravity.
AG’s Gemini Agent panel sends an empty project ID to the API. Every message returns:
HTTP 400: "Invalid project resource name projects/"
The GCP project was provisioned under the old account and didn’t follow the migration to the new one.
Proof it’s account-specific: I bought a separate Google AI Pro plan on a different Gmail account as a workaround. That account works perfectly in AG on the same machine, same installation. So I’m now paying for two subscriptions to use what one should cover.
What I’ve tried (none worked):
-
Setting GCP project ID manually in AG settings
-
Sign out + full restart
-
Full keychain reset: removed all AG entries from macOS Keychain, fresh login with the Ultra account
-
2FA is enabled (passkey, authenticator, Google prompt, phone, backup codes)
-
Reinstalled AG completely
-
Different (free) Google account works fine on the same machine
-
Searched this forum for known fixes, found 12+ users with the same error but no universal solution
Support experience so far:
-
GDP Premium Support (case open since April 3): closed the case after 48 hours “because we haven’t heard back”, despite me replying within hours. After reopening, redirected me to Google One Support
-
Google One Support (separate case): asked me to try incognito mode and different browsers. This is a desktop IDE, not a website
Neither team has acknowledged the actual issue: a server-side GCP project binding that needs to be re-provisioned for the migrated account.
