How to install Antigravity 2.0 and IDE on Linux

There is no installer for either of these so here’s how I did it. It’s easy and a bit meta…

Install the Antigravity CLI with the one liner from here: Google Antigravity

Also, download Antigravity 2.0 and IDE tarballs.

After installing the cli, go into your downloads directory in your terminal. Type agy to start antigravity, then prompt it to install:

Please install antigravity 2.0, the tarball is in this directory.

Then try to run it from your OS apps menu and it should just work. Then install the IDE:

Please install the antigravity ide, the tarball is in this directory

Then they should both be ready to go!

Same thing, download it then start agy and say: “Upgrade antigravity using latest tarbar in Downloads”

It would be useful, for this discussion thread, to note the big banner on Overview | Google Antigravity Docs

“Note: Antigravity IDE is not supported for enterprise customers.”

Uhh… what? What in blazes?

That’s why they split off the IDE and the CLI into separate packages, in 2.0…
