Highlighting code and choosing ‘Chat’ no longer includes the selected content/lines in the prompt metadata, I’m on version 1.19.5 (macos 26.2). Tried restarting a few times to no avail.
Update: 1.19.6 seems to also have the same issue.

+1, hitting the exact same issue on Windows (1.19.6). Highlighting and clicking ‘Chat’ just opens an empty prompt. The keyboard shortcut or opening the command palette and selecting ‘Open Chat with Agent’ still pulls the context in fine, but the clicking ‘Chat’ doesn’t work.
