Google removed Gemini's "Contexual Awareness" Layer in early August - Poor Fundamental change

Google removed a highly important, core layer from Gemini in early August. Gemini’s performance had significantly dropped from the June 2025 update to the now August 2025 update. It has significantly caused a fantastic product to become a mostly useless product. Google needs to implement a recovery session for Gemini where either the user could select between the core architecture Gemini is running for them, or the option to revert back to the last update if the new one is failing the user.
