Google AI Studio Preview returns 401 on iPadOS 27 after updating

Hello Google AI Studio team,

After updating my iPad to iPadOS 27, I can no longer open the Preview of my projects in Google AI Studio.

The Preview immediately returns this error:

401. This is an error.
The request is invalid and cannot be processed by the server.
It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

Environment

• Device: iPad

• OS: iPadOS 27

• Browser: Safari

• Service: Google AI Studio

• Feature: Build Mode → Preview

• Issue started: After updating to iPadOS 27

What I have tested

The problem is not limited to a single project. I have tested multiple existing AI Studio projects, and they all produce the same 401 error in Preview.

These projects were working normally before the iPadOS update.

This makes me suspect that the issue may be related to the interaction between iPadOS 27 / Safari and the AI Studio Preview environment or authentication, rather than the code of an individual project.

I have also noticed other recent reports of AI Studio Preview returning 401 errors on iOS/Safari, including reports affecting multiple projects.

Could the AI Studio team please confirm:

1. Is there a known compatibility issue between iPadOS 27/Safari and AI Studio Preview?

2. Is the 401 related to Preview authentication or the Preview runtime?

3. Is there a recommended workaround while this issue is being investigated?

I can provide screenshots, browser details, or additional diagnostic information if needed.

I had exactly the same thing. I refreshed checked settings for Safari tried Firefox tried Chrome tried Opera. Kept playing with settings. Tried lots of things

Eventually i got the click here to load in chrome you need to click 3 different screens (but only the once for each app)

Not entirely sure what I did to get it there but its possable.

Still need to click these for every app old and new but only 1 time each
