a) I sent a code request
b) gemini produces a code suggestions/plan and waits for my confirmation (as system instruction mandate)
c) I give a confirmation
d) It forgets a) and b) and wonders what the confirmation is about. It only remembers the first prompt done when the app was “initalized” and nothing about the current chat. (How to even edit that stored “initial prompt”?)
Note: I regualry reset the chat, create fresh copies of the app and reload the browser and delete cache.
–> This renders google ai studio completly useless, as I can not proceed anymore.
Any ideas?

I used Gemini 3 flash (default) when the error incurred.
Upon investigation Gemini 3 pro preview does not have the same issue, but Gemini 3 pro preview ignores system instructions.
Used model: Gemini 3 flash: forgets chat immediately. (Unuseable)
Tested model: Gemini 3 pro preview: ignores system instructions completely. (Unuseable)
Can I sent you any data to further help you Investigate the case?
Note: The current code based is very advanced. I didn’t have the problem of immediate chat alzheimer in prior weeks.
