I’m running into two issues 1 I can’t find a live API beyond gemini-2.0-flash-exp that supports both generateContent API and bidiGenerateContent API. the 2.5 live audio only support the audio modality and I am trying to do a custom TTS implementation, same issue expressed here gemini-live-2.5-flash-preview doesn't call tools · Issue #1698 · google/adk-python · GitHub. And then 2nd I keep getting rated limited on gemini-2.0-flash-exp even though I upgraded my billing to level 2 and I can’t seem to find anywhere the rate cap I am hitting on any chart. Can someone provide guidance?
Hey Seth, we don’t make models right now that support both. You need to either use the live model, TTS model, or normal Gemini models with generateContent
I’ve been trying to contact you for weeks already. You provided your email on Reddit if we need help with API limits. I wrote you a couple of emails and also wrote you a DM here.
Please have a look at my problem. I’m a solo developer, launching an app. I wanted to be Gemini only AI-powered, but because of CRAZY api limitations for the TTS model, I have no other choice but to use another company for TTS, and I will no longer be fully Gemini-powered.
I really wanted to say in my press-release that I’m fully Gemini-powered. That’s why I’m asking to lift the limits for me. I have 0 problems switching the Gemini TTS to any other. But I love google and I want to stay with you.
