Hello,
Since September 17, 2025, I have been experiencing an issue with Gemini in AI Studio when trying to generate audio from Russian text.
- Before that date, everything worked fine: Gemini could generate Russian text-to-speech without problems.
- However, in the middle of a session it suddenly stopped generating any Russian voice output.
- From that moment on, Gemini does not generate any audio for Russian text at all (no sound, or “No Audio Generated” message).
- English text still works perfectly fine — only Russian TTS is broken.
I tested:
- Different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Incognito mode)
- Different lengths of text (short phrases and longer sentences)
- My internet connection and account settings
The result is always the same: English → voice works, Russian → no audio.
Could you please confirm if this is a temporary issue or if Russian voice support has been disabled?
Any guidance or ETA for a fix would be greatly appreciated.
